Since 1998, GGB has been a competent and valued partner in the field of child and youth welfare and operates 19 foreign language day care centers. All of these bilingual facilities are located in the districts of Zwickau, Erzgebirgskreis, Mittelsachsen and Leipziger Land.
Our after-school care center is located in the rural town of Wildenfels directly in the building of the elementary school. This makes a particularly transparent and trusting cooperation with the teachers and the school management possible.
Our after-school care center is an independent, separate area and is run by fixed contact persons in its own premises with various theme rooms and homework rooms.
125 children currently use our bright, friendly and versatile rooms in the afternoon. In addition to the creative room, construction room, reading room and games room, we also have a gymnasium, schoolyard and a large inviting garden at our disposal. We have space for 125 students + 3 integrative places.
The after-school care center has four spacious group rooms on one floor. These are individually equipped according to the children's needs.
The first two classes use their classroom in dual use. There is also another classroom available for homework. One group room has its own kitchen where the children can practice and demonstrate their home economics skills under supervision.
The children also have access to two gymnasiums, a large schoolyard and a newly designed after-school garden with a horse corner, a car to explore, a small soccer pitch, a mud kitchen, a swing and seesaw and a climbing course to play on. This allows for a very varied, holistic afternoon program.
An interactive whiteboard invites children to learn and discover in a playful way. This encourages the sensible and responsible use of digital media.
